Re-certification – DIN EN ISO 9001 – passed with flying colors
30.08.2021

A re-certification audit includes a review of the management system documentation as well as confirmation of the continuous conformity and effectiveness of the management system as a whole. All standard requirements are audited and it is checked whether the contractual framework conditions still apply.

In order to extend the validity period of the certificate for BUSCH, such a repeat audit on the part of the independent auditor (DEKRA) took place in August 2021. The result: BUSCH Microsystems passed this audit with flying colors and no deviations were found. This confirms the high standard of our internal processes and ensures the high quality of our products. For us, however, quality means more than just meeting a DIN standard. Therefore, BUSCH Microsystems will continue to work on the improvement of the quality management system in the future in order to be able to guarantee its customers excellent product quality as well as reliable service.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our colleagues who contributed to the success of the audit.

You can find our certificate here.

Busch Microsystems receives “Innovative through Research” seal of approval
10.12.2020

The Donors' Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany (Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft) has awarded its seal of approval to BUSCH Microsystems' innovations through research.

In December, the company answered an extensive catalog of questions from the Association on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

In the process, the companies are asked about their commitment to research and development as well as their planning for subsequent years. The results of the survey are incorporated, among other things, into the federal report “Research and Innovation” and serve as a basis for decision-making by the federal government.

Jubilee celebration for the 20th anniversary
28.06.2019

At the end of June 2019, company founder Winfried Busch and his employees celebrated the 20th anniversary directly after the Laser World of Photonics in Munich. The celebration took place during an individual city tour on a bicycle through Munich, followed by a cosy get-together.

The 20th anniversary was celebrated not only with employees and colleagues, but also together with guests and business partners at the Laser World of Photonics booth.

Presentation of a laser system at the Laser World of Photonics in Munich
24.06.2019

In June 2019, Busch Microsystems presented a machine for high-precision laser processing with Synchronized Scan Motion technology for the first time at LASER World of PHOTONICS in Munich.
These machine systems from Busch Microsystems are in a class of their own in high-precision laser processing. Using Synchronized Scan Motion Technology (SSM), they set new standards in terms of accuracy, working speed and productivity (increase of up to 41%). Behind this is the high-precision, synchronized movement of a laser scanner and an XY positioning stage.

The efficiency of the scanner technology is demonstrated by the fact that it only needs 3.3 seconds to mark a 200mm diameter circle with circumferential text. Within a scanning field of about 100 mm, an accuracy of 2-3 µm is achieved, and microscopic examinations prove that this technology has no stitching errors. The software breaks down the motion patterns into optimized parts for the highly dynamic scanner system and the super-precise positioning stage and forwards the separate motion profiles to the two systems.
